Liability
In this Disclaimer, "BHH" refers to Buddha Hand Holistics, the trade name that Nathan works under for offering Reiki and Holistic Massage services.
"Appointment" or "Session" refers to booking/attending a Reiki service (for you or your animal), Holistic Massage service, space cleansing service, and any of these in person or over distance, or any other appointment with Nathan.
"Client/s" refers to anyone booking or attending any type of appointment or session given by Nathan.
BHH will do their best to make environments safe, appropriate, and comfortable for clients. Clients agree to take care of themselves before, during, and after appointments. Clients will inform BHH immediately if they do not feel well, and BHH will do their best to assist. BHH cannot give medical care or advice as he is not trained in these areas. Any medical care or advice given by BHH is not professional and BHH will not be liable for any adverse outcomes.
BHH is not liable for any adverse outcomes from any of the advice, information or treatment given to clients.
Clients are expected to take responsibility for their own safety, and BHH is not liable for any injury before, during, or after appointments.
If any injury to BHH, or any damage to property is caused by a client, or if anything is stolen by a client, they are responsible and will be liable.
All under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have express written permission for them to attend by themselves.
Booking
Clients must contact BHH before booking an appointment to arrange when the appointment will take place or to ask any questions. If a client books before contacting, any payment may not be refundable, this is down to the discretion of BHH, and the appointment may be cancelled.
Cancellation/Rescheduling/Missed Appointments
If a client needs to reschedule or cancel an appointment, BHH must be informed at the earliest opportunity. Refunds will be down to the discretion of BHH. If an appointment is missed, clients are not entitled to a refund, this will be down to the discretion of BHH.
Client's may request refunds or to reschedule appointments, but rescheduling and refunds are not guaranteed, and fees may apply, it is down to BHH to allow any rescheduling or refunds.
BHH reserves the right to conclude or cancel any appointment for any reason at the discretion of BHH, even if the appointment has not been completed, and refunds are down to the discretion of BHH.
If an appointment is cancelled by BHH:
BHH withholds the right to cancel any appointment at any time for any reason before or during an appointment, and is under no obligation to refund the cost of the appointment.
BHH will contact the client as soon as possible, using any/all contact methods he has available for the client, e.g. email or phone. The client must respond to say they have received the cancellation notice.
Clients can request to reschedule the appointment with no extra charges by contacting BHH. A request for a refund can also be communicated, but it is up to BHH to decide whether a refund or reschedule is approved.
If a client wishes to cancel or reschedule an appointment:
The client can do this at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment, and no fees will apply. If the client cancels or reschedules within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment, clients are not entitled to a refund, and there may be a cancellation/reschedule fee, which can be anything up to the total appointment cost, this amount is down to the discretion of BHH.
If the client is late for their appointment, or misses it entirely, and BHH cancels the appointment:
BHH withholds the right to cancel any appointment at any time for any reason before or during an appointment, and is under no obligation to refund the cost of the appointment.
The length of time classed as being "late" for the appointment is down to the discretion of BHH, and assessed on a case by case basis. The length of time will depend on the length of the appointment booked and other considerations e.g. how close together appointments are booked during that work day. Rescheduling or refunds for this appointment will be down to the discretion of BHH.
If an appointment is missed by the client, or they arrive late, and because of this the appointment is cancelled, they are not entitled to a refund for the missed appointment; this will be down to the discretion of BHH. Clients may request to reschedule, or receive a refund. This is not guaranteed, BHH has no obligation to grant these; it is down to BHH to allow rescheduling or refunds, and cancellation fees may apply up to the cost of the original appointment.
Deals/Discounts/Refer a Friend.
When using deals/discounts:
If an appointment that has been booked using any sort of discount is missed by the client, or they arrive late, and because of this, the appointment is cancelled, they are not entitled to a refund for the appointment; this will be down to the discretion of BHH. Clients may request to reschedule, but this is not guaranteed; it is down to the discretion of BHH, and fees may apply, e.g. paying full price for the rescheduled appointment.
Signing up for the Newsletter and Monthly* Updates
By filling out the sign-up form or requesting to be added to the Newsletter contact list, you agree to be contacted by BHH with information about services, discounts, and events, or anything else BHH deems relevant.
Once a client has signed up for the monthly* updates Newsletter via email, you will be contacted by BHH with a discount code for 10% off an appointment. This code can only be used once per client. If you wish to unsubscribe from the Newsletter, please contact BHH from the email you used to sign up, stating “unsubscribe” or by replying to the Newsletter email with the word unsubscribe.
* One or fewer monthly emails with details of BHH services and any other updates will be sent out to subscribers, as well as occasional updates/reminders for specific deals or events. BHH will not send spam or overload people with emails. This service is designed to keep interested people informed on BHH services that may interest them.
