30/60 minutes – if you’ve completed the Animal Consultation Form online before your animal's appointment.
90 minutes – if you prefer to complete the Animal Consultation Form in person.
Please allow 5 minutes either side of your session for settling in and concluding.
Review the Consultation Form and clarify the focus for their treatment.
The animal will need to be in a secure, safe space where they feel comfortable, away from distractions and interruption.
You are welcome to stay during the session (this is sometimes needed depending on the animal's temperament or size), or we can be left for the remainder of the time.
Your animal will receive a calming Reiki healing tailored to their needs, working on their complaint and general healing of their body and balancing of their emotions, mind, and energies.
The session ends with a short discussion about our experience and observations, and a recommended treatment plan for your animal's ongoing care.
A brief chat at the beginning, to check in since the previous session, and establish the focus for today's treatment.
A Reiki healing tailored to your animal's current needs.
A short discussion afterwards to reflect on the session and review their treatment plan.
Book a free online consultation and complete the Animal Consultation Form for Nathan to review, or if preferred, we can complete this together during the call. We will then discuss your responses and create a personalised treatment plan for your furry friend.
Choose the session length that suits your animal best: 15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes – The session length will be determined collaboratively, based on our discussion and the specific areas your animal needs (see below for more info on session length).
We will then book in your animals distance healing session.
At the arranged time, Nathan will review your Consultation Form and send the Reiki to your animal over distance.
During the session, ideally over a video call where your animal is in frame, you will be with your animal in a space that's clear from distractions and interruptions to receive the Reiki healing relevant to their current complaint e.g. calming their mind, aligning energy centers within the body, clearing old energy that is no longer needed, and healing injury or trauma.
Once the session is complete, we will then discuss our experiences and advice for moving forward with future sessions, if needed. It is common to have approx 5 regular sessions, e.g. once a week for greatest healing, and then assess whether to carry on as such or switch to by-weekly, or monthly sessions. This is a conversation to be had, to what feels right for both the animal/owner and practitioner.
Brief chat beforehand over video to catch up since the previous session and establish the focus of the session.
Reiki healing is sent to your animal in the same was as the first session, tailored to your animal's current needs.
Concluding with a sharing of our experiences, and planning future sessions.
The length of a session with an animal depends on three things:
1️⃣ The size of the animal
Sessions for smaller animals are normally quicker.
2️⃣ The issues they are presenting
The more severe the issue, or the length of time they have had it, the longer an animal will normally need.
3️⃣ How long the animal wants Reiki for
The length of a session is planned on the points above, but ultimately decided on by the animal. They are very smart, and more in tune with energy and their bodies than us humans, and therefore know how much they need.
For some sessions, they may need the whole time, for other sessions, they may only need 15 minutes. If an animal indicates the session is finished, Nathan will continue to give Reiki to amplify it's power, and they may tune back into the energy. Either way, they will be receiving the full benefits of Reiki.
